ABOUT US

We opened in April 2022 by UCSB Chemistry 22' graduate and family with the goal of bringing fresh & authentic Mexican food to the Isla Vista and Goleta Area.

Everything on Zócalo's menu is carefully crafted and selected by our family, made only with the freshest and best ingredients.

​

Including freshly baked bagels, horchata made from scratch, and birria marinated and slowly cooked in a process that takes over 12 hours!

​

We are excited to have visit us and become part of the Zócalo family.

​

Named after the main square in Mexico 🇲🇽, Zócalo, we hope to be a meeting place for all Isla Vista students. This is the place for team meetings, catching up with friends, grabbing a coffee, and some delicious food —it’s a one-stop-shop!
